Q. Where can I get more information?


A. Please feel free to contact any committee member or call (856) 218-1060. Make certain you keep checking back here for more content as it becomes available. We will continue to update this section (FAQ) as well as the entire website until conclusion of the Rally.
Q. Where can I register?
A. On-line pre-registration is now open. If you would like a form mailed to you, please contact the Registration Coordinator.
Q. How much is registration?
A. Pre-registration is $45.00 with tax and includes your Rally Packet with the 2008 NJ State H.O.G. Rally T-Shirt, a Rally Pin, a Rally patch and access to all on-site events, activities, and entertainment. You are also automatically entered into prize drawings held daily throughout the length of the rally.
Q. Will it be safe to register online with my credit card?
A. Yes, H.O.G. uses VeriSign to validate the security of the online registration process. You can feel safe in using your Visa or MasterCard to register for the Rally.
Q. Do I need to bring my confirmation card to the Rally?
A. Yes; it will make processing your registration and receiving your Rally packet quick and easy, allowing you more time for the activities and to enjoy the Rally experience.
Q. What happens if I lose my confirmation card?
A. Bring your H.O.G. card and a photo I.D. with you and we will verify your Rally registration.
Q. What if I renewed my H.O.G. membership but I have not received an updated membership card in time for the Rally?
A. Not to worry, bring your expired H.O.G. card and a photo I.D. with you and we will verify your membership and /or renewal through our registration process.
Q. Are there day passes available?
A. Sorry, there are no day passes. You are welcome to come for the day. However, the $45.00 registration fee still applies.
Q. Is the Rally open to the public?
A. The Rally is a private event held for currently registered H.O.G. members only. Associate H.O.G. members should register as a member. The Rally is a closed event and not open to the public.
Q. Can I bring a non-H.O.G. member as a guest?
A. A registered H.O.G. member may bring ONE non-H.O.G. member guest but must pay the $45.00 registration fee for the guest. Guests do not receive a Rally packet, T-Shirt, or Pin.
Q. Does everyone need to wear a wristband?
A. Yes, a wristband is required to enter the Rally site. All members and guests must have a wristband. NOTE: the wristband must be put onto the attendee’s wrist in Registration. We are not allowed to give anyone a wristband for someone else who is not in physical attendance at Registration.
Q. How far from the Rally Site are there hotels?
A. Many hotels are within a couple of miles of the Rally Site.
Q. What about other accommodations?
A. Many local accommodations and camping sites are listed on this website in the lodging section, including some nice B&B's. When available, links have been provided to make reservations quick and easy. Remember to ask for a HOG Rally discount.
Q. Is there secure parking for motorcycles?
A. Yes, the host hotel will provide a secure covered parking area for those registered to stay at The Appalachian.
Q. I'm coming down with my camper - is there a campground convenient to the rally sites.
A. Yes, there are campgrounds nearby and they are listed in the accommodations section
Q. What about weather?
A. The Rally will be held rain or shine. Typically, daytime temperatures are in the 80’s and nights are in the mid 60’s to low 70’s. However, it could be in the 80’s during the day and showers are always a possibility.
Q. How do I volunteer?
A. WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!!! We know how special you are and we plan to take very good care of our volunteers. Very soon a volunteer sign-up page will be added to this website for your application. You may check with your local chapter Assistant Director who will receive the necessary information or you may call Steve Simmons, 2008 New Jersey State H.O.G. Q. I want to trailer my bike to the rally. Will there be parking for my trailer and tow vehicle?
A. Yes, there will be a limited amount of parking available for trailers and tow vehicles those staying at the host hotel
